Eligibility Criteria for PM Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0
PMAY-U 2.0 is aimed at providing affordable housing to urban residents. To be eligible for the scheme, you must meet the following criteria:
Income Criteria
The scheme categorizes beneficiaries based on their annual income:
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Annual income up to Rs. 3 lakh.
- Low Income Group (LIG): Annual income between Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 6 lakh.
- Middle Income Group (MIG): Annual income between Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 9 lakh.
Ownership Criteria
- You should not own a pucca house anywhere in the country.
